Happy Bappy

Not just a description of a contented member of the baptist church...Claire's Baptism was great today. The mass was supported by 3 classes from Ailsa's school - 2 of whom were learning about baptism. They sang some cute songs - 'hush little baby, fear no harm, shawl of white to keep you warm....soothing oil on your head...the light of Christ is drawing near etc etc', 'Claire you are baptized in Christ'. It made the ceremony more sacred. Claire was content throughout. We had some neighbours, friends, plus my folks and the 2 G-parents Leo and Maria there. The baptismal gown was the same fabric as Sharon's wedding dress and had been worn twice before. Maria has proven her ample talent in soothing a crying baby. We had the joy of my cousin Andrew from Australia being there (first left below)
Then we had a shindig at the house with Fritata.

Duncan got good at carrying Claire aroundCharlotte took heaps (111 exactly) of photos - so this is just a snippet of her great talent.
