Sports Day

Here are the classes parading onto the ground. Each class represented a country, waving flags, etc, like the opening ceremony at the Olympics.

P1a was Poland.

There's Poland's finest bean bag 50 metre relay runner and potato-on-a-spoon competitor warming up.

What you don't see a picture of is me entering the Mum's race. I came maybe 4th or 5th out of 7 brave mums. Later Ailsa said to me, "Mum, were you even trying?"

Im sure you were just being careful not to show off in front of the other Mums....Do they even have school sports days in Aberdeen? Okay, maybe they do, but, maybe not Olympic Games styly ones....

Ha! Great post on the morning that we're about to start OUR Olympic-themed sports day! And now I see why you started jogging weeks ago... training for the big day!

Hey, we just had our "Play Day" too...no Olympic theme though, that's cool! I wouldn't have even had the courage to go in front of people to do anything even resembling a sport, way to go!
