Decor
Minimalist, retro cool, shabby chic?
We live in flats that were formerly student nurse accomodation in the 1960s. They've been converted to accomodation for consultant doctors and their families.
By "converted" I mean...frozen in time. Basically they built better digs for the nurses elsewhere.
Each bedroom in the flat still has a sink and a moulded plastic storage unit above it.
Anyway, the decor and atmosphere encourages student type behaviour. This evening was spent finishing off an old bottle of wine and little whiskey miniatures, watching youtube videos (I recommend the Kaiser Chiefs' 'Never miss a beat') and playing tetris.
Also, I'm sleeping with my flatmate.

Hmmm, I'm having a hard time figuring out who wrote this...I was convinced it was Sharon by the Tetris comment, but whiskey seems more like John...which would say they were sleeping with their flatmate?

I agree Dana; it's hard to tell. I'm leaning toward Sharon. Or maybe John. Sharon.
I'm betting it's a Sharon post. I want to see this place: it reminds me of my student dorm in college which was an old hospital "converted" - aka frozen in time - to student lodging too. I wonder if families are living in it now?
I would say Sharon as well- would John notice the decor? And although Sharon has always been a good girl, remember, she's Catholic and now living in nurses accomodation. Sounds like pulp fiction to me!
People. It is not hard to tell who writes which blog entries. In mine, all the words are spelled correctly.
'shabby chic' was the clincher Sharon. Let's hear it for the Catholic nurses living in student nurses quarters!
It does look like the old Annex....and I guess Sharron.
heehee
Since we humans predominantly are visual creatures you may notice my blog entries tend to big-up the pictorial to words ratio

John spelled nursery wrong in the Robbie's wedding post!! I had to go back and confirm Sharon's comment.
Sharon. Nasty.
PS- John, it's the feeling and authenticity that counts.
John's spelling is one thing, but it's his style that gives him away. Phrases I have to think at least twice about, like "big-up". And who knew a frikkin' SINK post could get 10 comments??!!
Yay! big-up bloog of the week - 11 comments!
