Sticker of the Day
Once in awhile Ailsa will come home from school with a sticker on her shirt, such as, "Good Work", or "Helping Hand".
Well, it seems the nosy secret police have got hold of this sticker idea. Yesterday at lunch time the "lunch ladies" looked inside the children's lunchboxes. We parental food packers had no advance warning. By a stroke of luck (actually a stroke of too lazy to get to the grocery store, and feeling bad for sending her to school without a nice little chocolate treat) Ailsa had a very boring and very healthy packed lunch. However, her friend next to her was sent home wearing the shame of an "Unhealthy lunchbox" sticker, for having a Nutella sandwich!Little do the "lunch ladies" know that we ate deep fried Mars bars for breakfast and a family bucket of KFC for supper.

I can't tell if you're kidding about the unhealthy sticker...??? although, kids have a lot of energetic thinking to do in an afternoon and nutella sandwiches just don't cut it.
Plus, I guess you won't be showing the lunch ladies your weekend blog!
Hee hee! You should have packed left overs from supper and breakfast!! The kids would have been sent home with pamphlets on the four food groups and exercise classes, plastered in stickers.
Heads up though- now you know to put her cigarettes in her coat pocket....

Weird beans. I also can't tell if all of this post is real, or if some of it is enhanced.
Why would they give a warning, though? I don't see it as a big deal, unless of course you're serious about the unhealthy sticker.
I AM serious about the unhealthy sticker! The only half-truths (all out lies) are about breakfast and supper.
Wow, that's mean! It's not the kids' fault their parents packed them an unhealthy lunch...they should make the parents wear the sticker!

That's terrible! The poor girl probably ate carrot sandwiches four days and on nutella day she gets checked. What about her psychological health? Where will the policing go next?
Right to your door, Mama, to make sure you're only saying positive, affirming things to children, and never hinting at inadequecies that may be true and need pointing out in humourous ways.
Oy, let's hope not!!
