While the Chief.....
We had a fun trip to Auld Reekie (Edinburgh) to visit my niece Fiona - when the sun came out we couldn't miss the chance to climb Arthur's seat. Heather said we should move to Edinburgh as we can climb it every day...and a la Proclaimer's song (Sunhine on Leith-http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6BDj4mr0fBc), the Chief did provide some rays.....

Bunny made it too....

Ailsa and Heather kept rushing ahead and saying, adults spoil climbing, children know best how to do it

Beautiful! That looks like an amazing spot...were you hovering over the girls? I'm a bit nervous just looking at the photos!

I had Laura on my back so I couldn't keep up with them - shouting doesn't seem to work - there was some strong winds on top of Athrur's seat

I was looking at some of it on Google Earth and reading some of the history. Sounds very interesting! Of course the kids are having fun, as seen on their expressions, history and geography can come later. Great post, John!

Adults spoil climbing, children know best how to do it...so true. That should be n a book somewhere..

I remember John not letting Bethanne and I get close to cliffs when we visited England so long ago!
