Waiting for the SnowBus
This is a picture from the BBC website. London had a lot of snow last week and this is what they did with it!So, Oma and Opa, how are you? We are missing you. I could hear Heather crying in her bed this morning, "I want Oma". This wasn't out of the blue, but because I told her, "No, we're not going down for breakfast, it's 4:30". I wanted to tell her Oma wouldn't pour her a bowl of Krispies at that hour either, but I didn't. I bet she was lying there thinking that if Oma and Opa were still here, they'd come pick her up and give her a big bowl of chocolate raisins, they're nice to her.
We made chocolate chip cookies today and nipped in to Ikea to buy some storage boxes. Who would have thought that nipping into Ikea was possible, especially with 2 slowpoke girls? But we were in and out of that commercial vastness in 25 minutes.
Although it would have been better with some snow to make some snowmen, it was a nice day.

Let's hope the sun doesn't come out while the snow bus in taking you somewhere important.
When was the last time you saw the map? Was it when we rented the car and used it just in case we got lost on the way back to your house? Uh oh... Bruno's on his way to buying a map of Mexico City, just in case.
No no, I had it after that. Last I remember using it was 31 Jan, so you are off the hook.
25 minutes in Ikea? Girl, you need to learn how to shop. Me and you sometime soon- at least 4 hours in Buchanan Galleries.
25 minutes is nipping? are you joking? less than 9 minutes is nipping; 25 minutes is a grocery trip.
But it's IKEA!!!!!! Don't you understand the mental and physical trap they have set up???
sharon, i'm rolling my eyes at patrick right now for you. when a more than 30 minutes shopping trip is in the works, he sits in the car listening to the cbc.
Good trick, Patrick... grocery shopping for me is 20 minutes. With Bruno it's closer to an hour. So I think I'll sit in the car while he browses for the first 30, then go in and get the essentials.
Glad I'm not the culprit of the lost map!
