Happy BDay Bethanne. Just thought I would share with all Canooks who've never seen the Clangers what a rich childrens programme from the 70s this is. It's also a lesson of how you can be inventive with pink wool. It can transfix all those budding 4 year old astronauts. Checkout the link

we have several clangers postcards hanging around on our walls. albert is convinced that they're his baby pictures.
Jennifer-had you guys seen the video of the Clangers before or just idolised their art-form?
Ah, we were but mere admirers of the art. The video was spectacular, though. It really brought home the common sense of community and humanity that we had initially associated with the weird, knitted aliens. Thanks for brightening up our Saturday morning!
The clip does nothave the soup ragon in it which is a whole wierder aspect of the show. The producers were definitely on drugs
