Hosta Sudoku

The last 2 things I did before bed last night was to browse the BBC gardening page for plants I could put in the shady, damp part of my garden. Then I did half a sudoku and went to bed. My dreams were all about nine square grids into which I had to place hostas, camellias, ferns, etc. It was quite a restless night.
On manners: Today Ailsa said to me, after I politely asked her to undo her seatbelt, "Well, Mom, you don't have to say please when you ask ME things. I'm not so worried about people saying please all the time".

I would interpret Ailsa's comment as 'Please, smack me now'. Cute
I LOVE those dreams... did you wake up laughing?
And I KNEW I loved that kid! Sometimes I think we say please a little too often. Saying things in a nice tone is enough, I say. Sometimes.
ha, that's great. i would agree, i overuse 'please' and 'sorry' all the time.
What a great blog. Thank you for the laughter, pleease continue to send!
Now Sharon....
I have 2 schools of thought:
1. Yes, I would have rolled my eyes initially and then laughed later about it... cute sauciness 2. I think it teaches them to make sure they use their manners even on family because sometimes we take things for granted. I would therefor say concerning the pleases- keep it up!! I would still want people to say please and thank you to me- my kids included. To me it teaches respect towards others... sometimes we forget that with the ones we love most! If this is too serious- I apologize.... I did have a good laugh!!! Soduku and hosta's... cool dream- do you remember any neat arrangements??!!
