Before and After
Here is our attempt at the pork chops and pears with maple syrup (recipe courtesy of p+jb:see their blog for recipe), accompanied by green beans and potato gratin (recipe also courtesy of jb, chef divine). It tasted delicious. I don't think the photo does it justice.

Heather liked it so much she volunteered to help do the dishes. If it looks like there is very little water in the sink, that's because it is all over her clothes and the floor.

Wow! We'll have to try that! Yummy! A lot of your blogs appear to be focussed on food- getting hungry often??
Little and often....

Heather can do dishes at our house anytime!! I'll just put a pool underneath her and we are set. She is such a cutie too- look at the pride in her eyes. Can't wait to see all of you.

heather's very enterprising...thinking outside the box. why wash only the dishes, when we can wash the floor too? while we're at it, why not the belly part of my shirt?
Oooh, boy. I'm not ready to be a mother of a 3 year old. Just an aunt, to admire the cute stuff and not have to clean up. I'll be just like Mom, saying, "If you want something done right, do it yourself."
Food looks yummy! And Heather is doing a great job. See Sharon and John, the more kids you have the more work gets done, the mmore work needs doing!
