Get lost with your employed self.
OK, a few times, while socialising with single friends, we have been referred to as "smug marrieds", especially if discussing the single friends' romance, or lack of. Well, I've decided that a whole lot of you people out there are the "smug employed", and even the "smug published". You can take your work stories and work friends and salary, and ability to google yourselves and your research publications, achievements, etc and get lost.
Gotta go. I've got a breakfast meeting. With some fairies.

I agree- better than 'computer screen eye' and 'office chair ass'
To reiterate:
It's your own fault that you associate with fantastic people with international wowza type jobs. Why can't you be more like me and know teachers and car engineers? Even engineers who switch careers to become teachers! I can't wait to be a mom like you to get out of these dregs.
