Me too, Jen, I've been analysing the spelling... she's got the basic site words correct for her age, and just some double consonants are missing, which all means that she is ahead of where I'd expect a Nova Scotian 6 year old to be!
That is a sweet note. Shows that she has a big heart. I got one of those from my daughter too, right after she had scribbled all over the walls in crayon. She also said that she was running away, but loved me. ha!

And so the game of life really doesn't change from generation to generation, just the players!
Ha, ha! Funny comment, Aubrey! That is a note you need to save for teenagerdom (or pre-teen even!)
Is it weird that the amazing thing to me is how great her spelling and penmanship is???
(Also: the note is truly endearing)

What were you mad about by the way?
I love it- spoken with true love and matter of factness.... only like a six year old can do!! That would be a keeper....
Maria
PS- I agree about the spelling- watch out when she can use larger words- might be more explicit?!!
