Yet More Tartan
I promise to tone down the tartan/scot-o-rama element of this blog soon, but here is a picture of Ailsa exiting the stage at a school event last Saturday night. It was a Scottish Homecoming/International evening, with food, songs, dances, dragons, henna and face painting, national costumes, all sorts of merriment. Ailsa did a wee highland dance routine. And her beautiful tartan kilt and waistcoat were handsewn by her Oma about 32 years ago.
Here's a shot of the henna hand.

E) Sophia Loren?? Really?
At least some bronzed buxom mediterranean
