Il est ou le big one?

That's the kind of very cute things that Mahalia says. She also calls her mom, "Mama Bessanne" all the time. I could just dip that girl in chocolate and gobble her up, she is so sweet.
All our girls had a great week with her, and with Bethanne. Here we are at the beach, and it was not nearly as grey as the photo makes it look. It wasn't sunny, mind you, but it wasn't depressing. Sorry about my mediocre photographs. They do get brighter and more colourful below.
But that's because of how well dressed these ladies are, and how well they coordinate with the playground equipment.

Otherwise, although the Coutty Cuties have abandoned us, the warm sunshine has come to visit instead. We have spent the morning outside in the back garden, not even wearing a coat, clearing old leaves, playing fairies, drinking coffee and chatting to friends who came to visit, while waiting for various workmen to come and fix things in the house.
WORKMEN: You know how you get an appointment, for the whole day, like they'll show up anytime between 8am and 6pm? Well today, by 11:15 am, I had the boiler serviced, the dripping pipes repaired and the Tesco delivery put away in the cupboards. That's 3 different people!Thank you, all you men who drive around in vans, bringing stuff and fixing stuff.
