But...let me tell you about a few days earlier, when she was NOT having a great day.
I was trying to guess what was wrong and cheer her up.
Are you mad? nothing. Are you sad? nothing. Do you want to talk about it? nothing. Do you want to go lie down? nothing. Do you want to help me in the kitchen? nothing. Do you want to help me chop the broccoli? nothing. Do you want to see a song on youtube about chopping broccoli? nod.
She was laughing within 20 seconds.

What a sweet picture of Heather but did you get to the root of the problem?
It all sounds like one of Mahalia's favourite books - What's Wrong Pookie (Sandra Boynton) ... it goes along the same lines as that... but doesn't end up with the chopping broccoli song... which I looked for a few years ago and couldn't find. Now I'll be off to look again.
Sorry we didn't phone but glad you had a gr8 day.
