Way to go Ailsa! Way to go Sharron and John! Just out of curiosity.. Was this your first P-T meeting of the year?? How many do you usually have? I'm always trying to convince my principal that all we need in the beginning of the year is a meet and greet with most parents and scheduled meetings later in the year.
No, there was one back in October, after they'd been there 2 months, but we missed it. We had a general meeting at the beginning where they showed us what they'd be teaching the kids over the year; that was helpful. I think a meet and greet is a good idea.
Yeah, but does she get a raise after that annual apprasial? Oops, too negative. You're job is great! I agree... meet and greet in beginning. Our school does 2 formal report cards and 2 p-t interviews which are like reports, but face to face (plus a meet and greet in the 2nd week). It's my favourite method.
No matter how often or when teachers, parent, meet, greet, or whatever, Ailsa is still the smartest girl in Glasgow! Does this deserve another outing with Dad? and special acknowledgement to the Child Development and Human Relations Research Associate.
Well the Head of Child Development and I are off to the circus one evening this week. I may just buy her a glass of wine on behalf of you all in recognition of a job done well.
