Pricey Pancakes!!
250ml of maple syrup has doubled in price, and is now retailing for £4.99.That is roughly ten dollars, people. What am I going to do???
And it's Mother's Day this weekend. I have to have French toast with maple syrup. Could I hide it for my own private use? I'm the only real Canadian in this household, after all. The others will have to make do with jam.

Oh my god is it that much now!!! Well, we'll get our mums to bring shedloads over. That's the only way....
Have Mom bring over Aunt Jemima... the semi Canadians can eat that.
We pay $5 for 250ml, so isn't that the way everything works: if it's x dollars here, it's x pounds there?
You need some Aunt Jemima for those who wouldn't be able to tell the difference.
I don't know what Patrick is talking about (seriously I can't figure out the 250 ml size), I'm not just being sarcastic), but we pay roughly the same here for what looks to be the exact same container you have pictured there. It's ridiculous, I know, but soooooo worth it!!! Just take little bits and savour.
On 2nd thought, you should be getting a Personal Stash of this stuff for your Mother's Day present!!!

Hide it under your pillow and ask for breakfast served in bed...and tell them you want to be alone to enjoy the french toast..??
