More Dreams
From Ailsa this time. Tonight she said,"Mum, remember when we lived in Robie Street? One night there were lobsters all over my bed. I don't know if it was a dream, I think it really happened".
This is the first time she has at least acknowledged the possibility that it might have been a dream. She hasn't mentioned that dream for at least 6 months, but for a long time she insisted it had really happened.
It reminded me of Bethanne's conviction that her and Sisca really had climbed the rope bridges on the McDonald Bridge when they were 6 years old.

What an amazing world kids live in.
That is a pretty scary dream for a little lady...
Jack is convinced he doesn't ever dream, but once in a while he comes up with something you know had to be a dream...kids are funny that way, eh? I used to dream about climbing the bridge ALL THE TIME!!
I remember being really frustrated that no one would believe me that we really did climb up those ropes. It's so funny now to remember how real it felt to me but to know that it was impossible.
I remember when we had lobsters when you lved on Robie Street. As a matter of fact we had the lobsters walking on the floor before depositing them to the pot. Ailsa and Heather were fascinatedd as I recall.
Aubrey- maybe they were really just freaking out thinking the lobsters would crawl right upstairs and into their beds! who wouldn't be afraid of that?!
Yep dad, I think it must have been exactly that time that put the dream into Ailsa's head. And dana, I can't believe you used to dream about climbing the bridge too!
