KAPUT
Again, a picture from last month. Thank you David, for taking these and putting them onto our computer because I reckon we will be camera-less for sometime to come. We had driven out to Loch Muick near Braemar for a walk in the snow, but only John and Ailsa were awake and energetic enough to get out of the car.Other news:
*Laura can crawl. She's like a new baby in the house, a cute little crawling person, not just a baby that lies around the place all day.
*Laura might be teething, as she is pretty unhappy today, very unlike her usual smiley self.
* Saturday night and Sharon and John spend the evening......cleaning the house. But it looks good and I feel good.
* Spent the day painting the garage, shovelling up gravel, cycling around the back lanes, baking cookies, going to Highland dance class, to B+Q, to the park, putting up a corner shelf in the kitchen.
*Heather LOVES cycling down the slope in the back lane and through every single pothole, whooping the whole way.
*Tomorrow is Mother's Day and Ailsa and Heather were so excited they could hardly get to sleep. I must be in for some treats tomorrow.
*Poor Claire, to have so many people in her family, because she feels she needs to list everyone. "Daddy hab soup, an Mummy hab soup, an me hab soup, an baby Laurrrra hab soup, an Hedn hab soup, an Ugu hab soup" The other day we were at playgroup in our church hall and she said, "We go dat dzutz...me go to a dzutz...Ugu go to a dzutz....Baby Laurrra go..(etc). It takes forever to say all she wants to say.
*I've been out twice this last week. One night to a restaurant with my friend Rashmi where we talked for hours. It was a good thing we had so much to catch up on, because we had to wait an hour to place our order and then an hour for our meal. And Sally took me to a Jazz festival evening to see a quintet led by two tenor saxophones. My favourite was the drummer, but I didn't want to admit it, lest she thought I was the musical equivalent of a philistine. So I said the pianist was incredible, which he actually was, but not as goofily lost in the music as the Swedish drummer.
OK, good night everyone.
ps. if anyone knows how to get my computer chair to stop slowly rotating me away from the keyboard, please send advice.

Answer to last question: Put your feet on the ground!
Glad you have been cleaning, keep it up for a few (two) weeks. BUT!
You are doing too much in one day. Sit on the couch and eat some cookies.
What a great picture! I love hearing a day in the life of Sharon!
hey! Lily does the same list thing!! but to a smaller family..."dat is mommys chair..dere's daddy's chair..etc.." Rose didn't do that..so its new to me!
Sweet pic! I love zonked kid pics!
What's dzutz? And can I come too?
Ax
GREAT spelling of Claire's language!! I wonder if the restaurant saw 2 women-run-ragged and decided to leave you alone and let you chat for all that time and risk your wrath. I bet there was a wise, all-seeing, all-knowing person behind all that bad service.
Thanks for the updates on all the kids... good format... feel free to do that more often!
