A New Behaviour Chart
We have used a handful of behaviour charts sporadically with Ailsa and now it is Heather's turn. Why are they excited when I threaten to make a chart? Heather woke up this morning and said, "Where's the chart? Did you make the chart? You said last night you would make the chart!"This chart will be to make a black mark for every.single.foot.stomp.she.does. At the end of the week, she can have a penny for every day that is clear of black marks.
Let's hope it helps me because my instinct, when she is stomping, is to stomp LOUDER and HARDER with both my big adult feet and shout "Stop Stomping!" I suspect I will be making thick, deep black marks on the chart. But seriously, this has got to stop. Long-time readers of this blog may remember me referring to Heather's foot stomping all the way back in February 2007. That's three and a half years. The floorboards are wearing thin.

Hahaha!! I LOVE Heather's footstomping. But I am not her mother, so I can understand. But the funniest thing is that she is so quiet when she is mad. I would just laugh at her, which would probably increase the stomping.
Can I also comment that you are very lucky to have girls who have no idea of what things cost? If I offred Mae a penny for being good she would probably laugh at me then kick me.
I'm too busy laughing at both the post and Jen's comment to have anything to say, but I wanted you to know I read it and love it.
I think foot stomping can be very therapeutic, maybe you should let her. It would be different if she was punching a hole in the wall, that should probably should be stopped!
Haha!! Well done, Mom, though I hear a little motherly regret that star charts weren't part of OUR upbringing... maybe it would have stopped that hole-kick, huh Sharon?
Yeah, I wonder where Heather got it from. Heh heh! How is she doing?
three days and no stomping. I did notice some very annoyed body writhing this morning though.
oh, poor kid! Happy mom though, so that's good, pic of the hair soon please and thought to call Ailsa today and then lost it, tell her we love her! Did she get her gift?
