Update
So, this "Let's eat more vegetarian meals" thing continues apace.
The Neatloaf recipe, containing tofu (never before placed in my shopping cart or brought into my home) and Special K (!!!) was actually quite good. The sauce was too zingy for the girls though.
There is a tendency to stuff outselves with pasta and garlic bread, which is not a very balanced diet.
Whatever is in Quorn sausages STICKS to the grill pan in an evil way. It is much easier to clean off animal fat and burnt grease, I am not kidding.
Vegetarian haggis contains peanuts. I did not think to check the ingredient list. I just presumed vegetarian haggis was made from...umm...vegetarians.
We still have to try Jake's Goulash in a dash, which sounds good as I am a paprika fan.
The best recipes so far are tarte a l'oignon, spinach ricotta pie, morrocan chickpea soup, spicy bean casserole, rataouille, taboule and grilled haloumi, macaroni and cheese, stuffed peppers and all sorts of soups.

Will be doing pasta pesto properly for you in a fortnight. And maybe something with puy lentils. But here's another idea. John's lent can include babysitting, as he is also non-alcoholic I thought he wouldn't mind....?
mmm tarte a l'oignon.. you should post some recipes...
Hey, what are you stuffing those peppers with? Yes, Tracey, let's get a few of us to have April or May as recipe month and share our best, what does everyone think?
