Victorian Glad Rags
The upper years have been learning about the Victorians and put on a special tea for the parents, with songs and poems as well as scones, cakes, chutneys that they had made themselves.
I rifled through my wardrobe to see what I could throw together for just such an occasion. Right at the back I found a chemise, corset, bustle, underskirt, velvet and tafetta overskirt and a velvet jacket with jewelled buttons. That'll do.

Of course ! Don't we all have those items stashed at the back of our closets? Sharon You look gorgeous in that outfit!
I hope the school starts coming up with crazier and crazier ideas just to see what Mrs Reid shows up in; to see if she'll ALWAYS have the best costume.
Wow! All very gorgeous, ladies!
"Memories are made of this". HEY is that a song? Whatever-- the Reid girls are all beautiful as I am sure the Reid guy is as well but we don't get to see him.
