Make your Mark
Voting done. Not sure I've made the best choices, but they're made.
Claire regularly makes her mark around the house. Teeny pen scribbles on the windowsill, lipstick smudges on her pillowcase, paint on the underside of the table.
Laura, not being able to hold a pen, mischiefs in other ways. I wonder how many dominoes I can get inside the ukulele? Ooh, now. I wonder how many Duplo men I can get inside Dad's guitar.
Give Heather chocolate and it will mark the strangest places. Back of her neck, top of her head, eyebrows. What were you doing exactly, with the bowl of chocolate mousse and the spoon?
I should have voted for the party promising free house/child/car cleaning for all constituents.

Did you vote in the Canada Election? Have you heard the results? Or are you reminishing the model parliament in ESJH?
No, I can't vote in the Canadian one. Boy the Liberals took a hit! This was for the Scottish Parliament, and also a referendum on changing the voting system.
I was reading about the proposed voting system. I think I like it, but I don't know. If it passes, it won't be long before people propose it here.
In my opinion there's no such thing as a wrong vote! You voted - a privilege denied to many.
I think I voted wrong! I voted for a main party but didn't want to vote for the party rep here! So...that was silly.
Ahhh voting... at least you GET to vote... wrong or right! I feel landless. I'm no longer allowed to vote in Canada... I wonder what I have to do to be able to vote in EU elections?
You should be proud of your girls leaving their marks. One day they'll vote... let's hope they don't vote with legos in ukes and guitars or chocolate smudges.
I would pay someone a lot of money right now to clean my car. Oy.
Back to you- good on ya for voting. I agree with what Rita said.
