Ladies' Day
No, not at Ascot, but at New Lanark. My friends Anita, Lisa, Jen and Sara joined me for a really nice day. After some coffee shop chat and me devouring a fat slice of cranberry-orange cream cake, we were ready to start the 4 mile walk.

Sports Day
Here are the classes parading onto the ground. Each class represented a country, waving flags, etc, like the opening ceremony at the Olympics.
There's Poland's finest bean bag 50 metre relay runner and potato-on-a-spoon competitor warming up.
What you don't see a picture of is me entering the Mum's race. I came maybe 4th or 5th out of 7 brave mums. Later Ailsa said to me, "Mum, were you even trying?"

Pardon Me?
Yesterday's video got no comments so I'll try again. This one is only 9 seconds long.

Baby Friends
People. They weren't really fighting and making up in the Science Centre. I was just taking lots of pictures of Isobel and Claire and two of them just struck me as looking like that. They really are very cute baby friends (although Claire is a wee thief. She's lucky Isobel is so chilled).

Two for the Price of One
(There's another blog entry just below this one)
Today we had a great day at the Science Centre with the Foxes, and then a nice evening sitting on the back steps in the sunshine before a yummy supper and the children telling their best jokes.

Here is Emily creating a spinning animation
